Pre-stored Waveform Files -

One way to load waveform files is simply loading a saved .wf file from a previous session with the GUI application.

By default, .wf waveform files are in the directory C:\Program Files\Euvis\__WF. You can change this directory by changing the "User Waveform Directory" in Preferences.

» With the program open, click on the Waveform tab if you are not already in the Waveform Panel.

» Click on the pull-down bar and select one of the saved waveforms. After clicking on the waveform, waveform parameters in the file will be loaded into the GUI.

» Alternatively, type one of the following waveform codes: 0, 1, or 2, corresponding to positive, triangle, or negative linear chirping, and modify the parameters as desired.

» Then click the Download button to send current waveform parameters to the board. You will have to use this button whenever you change any waveform parameters.

» Before proceeding with anything else, you must wait for the waveform to finish downloading to the board. This can take several seconds, requiring longer durations to download waveforms with longer Data Lengths. You can monitor the download completion status indicated by the progress bar at the lower right corner of the application window.

» Finally, to start the waveform, press the Restart button in the toolstrip under the menu bar near the top of the application window.
