The title bar will display the Series Number of the DSM board connected to the computer. The Series Number is an unique identifier that is burned into the DSM's firmware. Each board has its own Series Number. If no boards are connected or if there is something wrong with the firmware, the GUI application will display the "No Modules Found" message on the title bar.

From left to right the buttons are: Delete Waveform, Save Waveform, Save Waveform As, Abort Waveform, Arm Board, and Restart Waveform.
Delete Waveform
Deletes the current loaded waveform file. The current waveform is the one listed in the drop-down box in the Waveform Selector in the Waveform tab. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion of the waveform.
Save Waveform
Save the waveform parameters to the current loaded waveform file. For detailed instructions on saving waveforms please see the Save Waveform page.
Save Waveform As
Save the waveform parameters to a new waveform file. For detailed instructions on saving waveforms please see the Save Waveform page.
Abort Waveform
Stops waveform output. Also resets the DSM state to the stop mode. The keyboard shortcut "F3" has the same function as this button.
Arm Board
Used to arm the DSM module in Triggered Free Run and Triggered Burst modes. The keyboard shortcut "F2" has the same function as this button.
Restart Waveform
Starts waveform output in Free Run mode. Also resets the DSM state to stop mode. The keyboard shortcut "F1" has the same function as this button.

        File :

        Reload Waveform
Refreshes the Waveform Selector List in the Waveform window. You only need to refresh if you make any changes to the waveform .wf files while the program is still running.
Save
Saves all parameters into current waveform file. The current waveform is the one listed in the drop-down box in the Waveform window. For detailed instructions on saving waveforms please see the Save Waveform page.
Save As
Saves all parameters into a new waveform file. When you click on "Save As", a new dialog box will open listing all the parameters. For detailed instructions on saving waveforms please see the Save Waveform page.

        Auto Restart
Automatically restarts DSM memory when you download waveform to the DSM board.
Preferences
Brings up the Preferences window:

Waveform Directory is the location where you want the waveform files to be saved to. The ".\"
represents the root directory of the program which you specified during installation. The default is C:\Program Files\Euvis

Memory Dump Directory is the location where you want the memory dump to be saved to.

data sent to the board in a .dat file located in the Memory Dump Directory which is specified above.

        EPROM Waveform

The EPROM Waveform menu allows you to create a new waveform to be output when you first start up the module. The EPROM waveform is also known as the startup waveform. For more details on how to use the startup waveform functions please see the Startup Waveforms page in the Using the GUI section.
Save
Saves the currently selected waveform as the startup waveform to EPROM. Please note that you can ONLY save built-in waveform for startup waveforms. Any user-defined waveforms will be ignored.
